A Restorative Workout To Relieve Stress On Your Rest Days

February 1, 2021

Working out hard has its benefits like building strength, cardiovascular health, and muscle mass, but how we work our bodies on the days we’re not pushing ourselves to the max is just as crucial to our health and fitness goals. If you don’t incorporate rest days including restorative workouts to help repair and restore your body after a tough workout, then your muscles and nervous system don’t get a chance to rebuild. This can lead to fatigue, stress, pain and injury. Give yourself the permission to rest on the days in between high-intensity workouts and practice some restorative exercises. Maybe you’re due for a workout and you don’t have the energy to go all out. This restorative workout is perfect for those days and just as beneficial for your body as a hard workout. Watch your fitness goals become a reality as you allow your body to slow down.
