I had the pleasure and joy to dine at a fantastic vegan restaurant during my travels to Ubud, Bali. Alchemy is 100% raw vegan cafe and juice bar, serving up locally grown, earth-conscious, and healthy food options. Everything on the menu is mind-blowing; however, their desserts and smoothies are where it’s at.

This smoothie was so good, it would be rude not to share. This incredibly delectable, raw maca cacao smoothie is not only delicious but good for your overall wellbeing. Cacao and maca are both incredible nourishing super foods, packed with antioxidants and endorphins to boost happiness. Best of all, cacao and maca are natural stimulants as well as aphrodisiacs, making this one super sexy smoothie!

Raw Maca Cacao Smoothie

Total time: 2 minutes
Yield: 2 servings
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon maca root powder
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut milk coconut milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • a handful of ice

Directions

1. Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth. Add more liquid for a thinner consistency if desired.
