I had a great coat once. I lost it one bitterly cold, snowy night, coming back from a party (see: NYC, leaving things in cabs). Which is all to say, I am in the market for a warm, super cool vegan coat! A great vegan coat is something you will wear everyday through the season. And when you put it on, it should make you feel great even with just your old T and jeans. It should add a touch of you to every outfit. Without further ado, here are some of my favorite picks for this season.
Leather Look coats
Pim + Larkin Venice Vegan Leather Sleeve Coat, $149
A faux leather coat or jacket adds a touch of toughness to your ladylike style. I’d wear this with a mini skirt, tights, and high heel pumps.
Rebecca Minkoff Cullen coat, $498 (reversible)
This vegan winter coat by Rebecca Minkoff is an investment piece, but it’s like getting two coats in one! I don’t know which I prefer, this cuddly, cream-colored side, or the brown leather-look side. This would look so good layered over soft sweaters, skinny jeans, and chunky scarf.

Vegan fitted biker jacket with drape, $76.42
A cool, hip vegan jacket for warm, sunny fall days when you might just be walking around downtown for no reason. Combine with perfectly tousled hair (or messy chignon) for that certain je-ne-sais-quoi.

I love the luxe look of this faux shearling coat. Wear with black skinny jeans and boots for that city chic look.

Going apple-picking? Headed to the seaside for a lazy fall beach day? This is what you wear with your fisherman sweater.

I have an affinity for “North of the Wall” parkas, and this is the best version I’ve seen yet. You can take this any direction and run with it: casual and dressed down, luxe, androgynous, or super feminine and glam.
Noisy May vegan plaid coat, $123.18
I’m loving this youthful look. Also, dark green/navy coats go with everything and looks flattering on most people. It will just subtly highlight you from the sea of black and charcoal coats.

This is the coat version of your favorite T and best skinny jeans. Black (check), single breast (check), notch lapel (check), knee length (check). In short it makes you look effortlessly cool and goes with everything you own.
