Word of Mouth Truck – Los Angeles, CA
LA’s newest vegan food truck hit the streets earlier this year, and their vegan comfort food is certainly a hit! Come rain or shine, Word of Mouth Truck serves up such offerings as the Fried Chik’n Sandwich, Mac and Cheese Bites, or their signature Munchwrap—just to name a few. Staci Stewart and Chris Chavez founded the 100% plant-based food truck after noticing limited vegan options at local events around town and to help inspire progressive change for animals and the environment!
Plant Food for People – Los Angeles, CA
If you’re in the Los Angeles area, Plant Food for People is another vegan food truck you just have to try! Since 2011 they’ve been cooking up jackfruit tacos, tortas, and loaded nachos topped with jackfruit, pinto beans, pico de gallo, chipotle mayo, and their specialty “cheeze”—yum! Be sure to check out their Instagram to find out where they’ll be next!
Veggie Love – Palm Beach County, FL
As if the menu doesn’t speak for itself—this 100% vegan, gluten-free, and organic food truck serves up mouthwatering meals made with fruits and veggies from local farmers. In order to support the farm-to-table movement and supply only the most nutritious of meals, chef Alison Murphy made it her mission to bring harmony and good health to customers with each and every delicious bite. Along with yummy entrees like the Black Bean Burger and the Chili Cheez Nachos, Veggie Love has several smoothies such as the Berrylicious Smoothie—all of which are sure to satisfy any food cravings!
Kind Kravings – Wichita, KS
Kind Kravings isn’t your regular food truck! This double-decker bus provides indoor seating where patrons can enjoy their delicious lineup of 100% all-natural, non-GMO, and cruelty-free foods! In order to reduce their carbon footprint and promote sustainability, Kind Kravings uses plant-based compostable to-go containers/utensils, they purchase local goods as much as possible, and are currently working to get their kitchen powered by solar energy! Keep a lookout for their pop-ups to try their Grilled BBQ Sammich or their Asian Noodle Salad.
V-Grits – Louisville, KY
If you’re in the mood for some good ol’ Southern cooking, V-Grits in Louisville, Kentucky should be at the top of your bucket list! Since 2015, this vegan food truck has been serving up appetizing options like Chili Dogs, Loaded Mac & Cheese, Chicken & Waffles, and the Crab Cake Po’ Boy. These delicious entrees are the creation of chef Kristina Addington who was the first plant-based chef to appear on the Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen. Although they now sell organic prepared meals by the name of Elevate in local grocery stores, you can still find V-Grits on the streets several times a month. The best part is you can even receive text message updates to find out where they’ll be next!
The Cinnamon Snail – New York, NY
You may be familiar with the two Cinnamon Snail locations in The Pennsy Food Hall and City Acres Market in New York, but The Cinnamon Snail first started out as a food truck about seven years ago! Catch them at the Red Bank Farmers Market every Sunday at 9 am sharp!
