Vegan Breakfast Recipes: Maple Pecan Granola

June 10, 2015
Making granola at home is so much more satisfying than buying from the store. Not to mention, it's also way cheaper! With tiny bags of boutique granola pushing up towards $10 these days, it's way more cost effective and just as delicious if you make it yourself. Here, I served mine over almond yogurt and topped it with fresh blackberries.

Directions

1. Pre-heat oven to 325.
2. Combine all ingredients in bowl so that the dry is evenly coated with the wet.
3. Spread granola evenly onto parchment-lined or nonstick baking sheet.
4. Turn granola every 5 minutes once it’s in the oven, making sure it cooks evenly, until finished.
5. Off heat, add 1/2 cup of your favorite dried fruit. I like dried cherries and cranberries. Dates are also great!
