Vegan and Eco-Friendly Versions of Best Fall Trends

September 8, 2015

The fall season is upon us, which means that rompers and sundresses will soon be replaced with nubby sweaters, boots, and muted scarves. These are what I’d consider “classic” fall pieces–the predictable ensembles that remind us that the season is never too far away, that some things in life never lose their charm and novelty.  That said, it’s always fun to incorporate some of the year’s more trendy items into your regular rotation, and fall 2015’s style picks do not disappoint.

Below I’ve highlighted some of my favorite fashion finds of the year, but with an eco-friendly, vegan twist.

1. Loafers

Beyond Skin Black & Ivory Loafer, $145

Cri de Coeur Carrington Loafer, $224

2. ‘70s-style Flared Jeans

Equipe Major Ring My Bell Pants, $65

3. Shearling Coats

Free People Vegan Shearling Motorcycle Jacket, $268

Nasty Gal Vegan Shearling Jacket, $74

4. Velvet Everything

Vaute Couture Reading Skirt, $83

Vaute Couture Kristina Dress in Organic Velvet, $168

5. Oversized Trenches

Equipe Major Trench Coat, $90

Which one of these would you wear?
