Protein-Packed Omega-3 Blackberry Smoothie Bowl

With spring in the air, smoothie bowls are back in season! To be honest, though, they never went out of style at my house…they’re just a little more comfortable and less chilling now.

Lately, I’ve been loving this quick blend of blackberries, flax, and frozen cauliflower! Add a scoop of optional protein powder to boost protein, and slurp this down for pre/post workout fuel. I love mine served with more fresh blackberries and a bit go your favorite granola and/or nut butter.

Protein-Packed Omega-3 Blackberry Smoothie Bowl

Total time: 10 minutes
Yield: 1 serving
  • 12 oz unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower
  • 2/3 cup frozen blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed


Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and process until smooth and creamy. Pour into a bowl immediately and top with fresh blackberries.
