Chakra Recipes: Green Smoothie for Heart Chakra (Anahata)

June 2, 2016
This Green Smoothie for Heart Chakra (Anahata) incorporates all the greenest greens--even frozen peas, which are surprisingly nice in smoothies. They add a smooth texture similar to that of froyo.
This particular smoothie is the color of the fourth chakra, which relates to an open heart, compassion, and vitality. If you are feeling disconnected from your loved ones, fatigued by your relationships, or apathetic in general, then this is the recipe for you. Even if you feel pretty balanced, this drink can give you an essential energy boost as you transition into the summer months ahead. Pair it with your favorite heart-opening yoga poses for a full revitalization of the fourth chakra.
