5 Best Sustainable Online Stores For Zero-Wasters Who Still Like Shopping Now & Then

April 28, 2020

Who doesn’t like shopping? Even though I have been moving towards a minimalist and zero-waste lifestyle, I still need certain items. Thankfully, there is a growing number of vegan, sustainable, eco-friendly online shops out there today. These will come in handy whether you are looking for some cruelty-free cosmetics or sustainable and zero-waste products for your bathroom and kitchen. These shops have you covered for all those eco-friendly products.

Who doesn’t know Lush? I loved them long before I went vegan and wanted to reduce my plastic consumption. I have been getting the same perfume from their stores for years! I also love spending time in their brick-and-mortar shops. It always looks so pretty and smells amazing! I have to admit:  When I am in one of their stores I need to be stopped so i don’t test all their products.😉 While some of their items contain honey or beeswax, their entire range is 100% vegetarian. More than 85% is also fully vegan.

Love Lula

This is a great online store with all natural and organic products. They have a huge variety of ethical brands, none of which have been tested on animals or contain parabens. Whatever you are looking for, I am sure you will find it. If you are unsure which products are the ones for you, you can sign up for their monthly beauty box. Every month you will get a box delivered with different items so you can test them all. Also a plus: Free worldwide shipping for orders over £15.

Ben & Anna

When I started my zero-waste journey I also had to look for deodorant and toothpaste alternatives. That’s when I stumbled upon Ben & Anna, which sells all-natural products without any plastic. They have toothbrush powder in a glass jar and aluminium-free deodorant in a paper tube. All vegan, cruelty-free and plastic free. Amazing! They smell so good, too. Honestly, before trying it I was not convinced that powder would do the trick for clean teeth. But I really wanted to go zero-waste. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Check out their website.

Another store for all you zero-waste people. This store offers so many amazing zero-waste swaps: beauty products, items for your home, children’s toys, on-the-go items, things for pets. Or just get a full kit at once. Whether you need cosmetics, new kitchen utensils, a steel razor, or some new lotions without all the plastic bottles, you surely will find what you need. I have to mention though that not everything here is vegan. They do have beeswax wraps, for example. Go have a look here.
