Dumplings it’s time to celebrate! Along with being World Vegan Day, today marks the start of World Vegan Month—but feel free to celebrate all year round!

Whether you plan to try the new vegan restaurant in town (yay for supporting local vegan businesses!), to host a vegan dinner party, or to take part in a vegan outreach program in your community, the options are endless. If you want to do something special this month, but aren’t quite sure how to celebrate—here are 10 vegan festivals that are definitely worth traveling for!

Seed Food and Wine Festival – Miami, Florida

Date: November 1-5, 2017

Time: Varies

Kicking off today, this week-long extravaganza features over 200 exhibits with over 30 vegan authors, celebrities, athletes, and plant based chefs. Events include an eco-friendly fashion show, a 5k run, a veggie burger cook off, and a plethora of other workshops and panels. Some event tickets can be purchased individually or you can purchase passes for entry into multiple events.

Tampa Bay Veg Fest – Tampa, Florida

Date: November 4, 2017

Time: 10am – 5pm

For the eight year in a row, the Florida Voices for Animals have coordinated an amazing line up of guest speakers, veg-friendly vendors, live music, food demos, a scavenger hunt (plus many other kid-friendly activities!), and will also include a full day of yoga activities! The free festival will be held at the Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park and has been organized entirely by volunteers!

Montreal Vegan Festival – Montreal, Canada

Date: November 4-5, 2017

Time: 10am – 6pm

Featuring documentaries and presentations advocating animal rights and the end of animal exploitation, the Montreal Vegan Festival in Québec will showcase many informative speakers and have cooking demos to answer all of your questions about eating a plant-based diet while still getting proper nutrition.

Triad VegFest – Greensboro, North Carolina

Date: November 5, 2017

Time: 11am – 4pm

The second annual Triad VegFest will be held at Greensboro’s Farmers Club Market where 50 vendors will showcase their best vegan grub and products. Plus, the event is free and there will be live music and entertainment. What’s not to love?!

The Great Vegan Cheesecake Throwdown – New York, New York

Date: November 6, 2017

Time: 7pm – 9pm

Okay—so it’s not a festival, but who can resist a big slice of vegan cheesecake?! Indulge in some yummy desserts by making a pit stop at VSPOT Organic, a trendy New York restaurant serving vegan, Latin comfort food, to get a taste of what this throwdown has to offer! For only $25, you will get to try and vote on each of the delicious cheesecakes as chefs from all over the state vie for the title of Best Vegan Cheesecake in NYC.

Atlanta Veg Fest – Marietta, Georgia

Date: November 11, 2017

Time: 10am – 5pm

The third Veg Fest to grace the list will be held at the Cobb County Civic Center—and the list of vendors is pretty impressive! Although the event is free, organizers are asking attendees to donate $5 at the door in order to support this all-volunteer event. Be sure to get there at 10am sharp as the first 300 people will receive goodie bags filled with coupons and free samples from the event’s amazing sponsors!

LA Tofurky Trot & Vegan Food Fest – Los Angeles, California

Date: November 12, 2017

Time: 10am – 3pm

Sponsored by Tofurky and organized by the Factory Farming Awareness Coalition, this family-friendly 5k run/walk will take place in beautiful Griffith Park in LA. Tickets for the 5k and the food fest are for sale, but those who register for the Tofurky Trot will get free admission to the Vegan Food Fest and will also receive free Tofurky tote bags! Feel free to dress up because prizes will be awarded for best costumes—even for your four-legged, furry friends!

Circle V Vegan Music and Food Festival – Los Angeles, California

Date: November 18, 2017

Time: 3pm – 11:45pm

Mark your calendars folks! Waka Flocka Flame, Moby, DREAMCAR, Raury, and Reggie Watts will all be performing at the Regent Theater in downtown LA in support of animal rights! Celebrity speakers such as Kat Von D and Ingrid Newkirk (the president of PETA) will also be present as well as some awesome local vegan vendors! Tickets for general admission and VIP range from $35 to $150.

Edinburgh Ethical Winter Festival – Edinburgh, United Kingdom

Date: November 19, 2017

Time: 10:30am – 4:30pm

If you’re seeking a Christmas themed—and completely vegan—event, this winter festival is sure to get visitors from all over the UK! For just £3 for adults (£2 if you purchase tickets in advance) and £1 for children, attendees will have access to countless speakers and workshops—and some delectable vegan cuisine!

Aberdeen Vegan Festival – Aberdeen, United Kingdom

Date: November 25, 2017

Time: 10:30am – 4:30pm

Closing out our November festival roundup, the Aberdeen Football Club will be the home of the second annual Aberdeen Vegan Festival. Similar to the Edinburgh festivities, speakers, presentations, and vendors will be present, with prices being slightly cheaper at £2 for adults.
