Vegan Smoothie Recipes: Green Hydrating Smoothie

July 27, 2016
This smoothie is the perfect concoction for sweltering summer days. The healthful combination of grapes, iron-rich spinach, satiating avocado, and coconut water, which is filled with electrolytes, will hydrate you at any time of day. Yesterday, when I returned home from a wedding in Western Massachusetts, I was feeling less than stellar and uncharacteristically lethargic. This was the first recipe I made, and I swear that it helped restore me. If you don't have frozen grapes on hand (I didn't), you can simply use fresh ones and refrigerate your smoothie before consuming; the purpose here is to have something refreshing and cooling.
